Purchased for providing an all-round trait genetic package, he has exceptional growth and carcase EBVs with all ranking in the top 31% of the breed ensuring he will sire progeny that excel in their growth trajectory and finishing ability. He is also a trait leader for Gestation Length (top 1%) and provides female power with Heifer Pregnancy and Docility in the top 10%. A bull you can use maternally (BLNZ$M Index top 21%), terminally (BLNZ$T Index top 36%) and in the dairy industry (BLNZ$BxD Index top 12%). Still happy, healthy and structually strong, J354 has had a number of sons sold in three sales to date (2026).

Purchased for $60, 000 in 2023 from Woonallee Simmentals in partnership with Agri-Gene, Secret Service is a moderate, homozygous polled sire with excellent structure and a data set that aligns perfectly with Gold Creek’s breeding programme. What sets him apart are his calving traits – ranking in the top 1% for Birth Weight and Calving Ease – making him a genuine heifer option without sacrificing the strengths Simmentals are traditionally known for. His daughters will also calve with ease, with a Maternal Calving Ease ranking in the top 3% and will be the “milkers” of the herd (Milk top 10%). Backed by a complete outcross pedigree, Secret Service offers real mating flexibility in a tightening gene pool. Gold Creek looks forward to offering his first sons in 2027.

On the 16th visit of the Sanson family to Woonallee Simmentals in 2026, we managed to picked up the powerhouse of a bull that is Woonallee Nashville V179. Purchased for $67, 500, he will inject some serious growth genetics with Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight and Maternal Weaning Weight all ranking in the top 25% of the breed. As quiet as a mouse (Docility top 10%) and even though he was nudging 1000kg on sale day, also a very free moving bull. A strong headed sire with all the cosmetics required. Nashville 179 will be an impact bull to watch in the future and Gold Creek wait in anticipation to offer his first sons for sale in 2029.
