SIMMENTAL BULL SALES

All animal health e.g. drench/vaccine records are also kept in Herdmaster. Herd TB status is C10, all sale bulls are BVD tested and vaccinated. All sale bulls are service capacity and semen tested. All this combined with rigours structural assessment mean bulls will have the greatest chance to perform at their new home without breakdown. Should the worst happen and there is an injury they are guaranteed for two years, and offer complete assistance by way of back up sire to loyal clients.

HEALTH
Gold Creek Simmentals have a C10 TB status, TB has never been detected in the herd. All cattle have been tested negative for bvd.
TRANSPORT
Gold Creek will deliver free of charge to the North Island.
GUARANTEE
All cattle sold come with a two year structure and fertility guarantee. In the rare case a bull is found to be infertile or incapable of natural service, Gold Creek will refund or replace the bull provided the problem is not caused by injury or disease incurred after taking delivery.
TRANSFERS
All cattle are registered with the NZ Simmental Breeders Association and are eligible for transfer.

BULL SALE RESULTS

Thank you to everyone who turned out in support of our inaugural on farm auction for Gold Creek Simmentals. A good crowd braved terrible weather to give strong support to the sale, where two New Zealand Simmental records were broken at the sale at Matawai, 45km north-west of Gisborne.

The sale raised the highest price for a rising 1-year bull and highest price for a semen straw, while four bulls and two heifers were transferred for stud. The infusion of Woonallee genetics was seen as a point of difference and viewed as an outcross for many studs.
